In the history of my personal blogging, I must say that consistency is not my strong suit. But I figured that instead of sending out email after email to everyone about what I'm doing, one general blog might be best.
This writing will serve two purposes. The first, satisfying my need to believe that other people actually care about what I'm doing in Thailand, and are willing to eat up a few minutes at their 8-5 jobs, so as to take a break from coding paperwork, filling out spreadsheets, etc.
The second is because I have a couple of friends who are coming to Thailand in the next month, or, will have some friends in the future who can reference this for their own future solo travels. So expect many exact detals on how I've made it from airport transfer to cheap guesthouse. Meeting with Jane the day before I left was an immense help to settle my worries, as she gave me many of these logisitcal tips.
